Daruj kelímek project has once again shown that even a seemingly small gesture can have a huge impact. NICKNACK was a proud partner of charity collections at Christmas markets in Brno and Ostrava, where returnable cups turned into concrete help for those who need it most.

Brno Christmas Markets: Over 5.2 Million CZK for 18 Organizations

At the Christmas markets in Brno, visitors had the opportunity to donate a deposit for a NICKNACK cup to one of the 18 participating charitable organizations. The result exceeded all expectations.

A total of CZK 5,223,850 was raised, which has already been transferred to the accounts of all participating organizations.

As the organizers of Daruj kelímek project themselves summarized:

“The amounts you see in the overview are not just numbers in a table. They are money that can already be turned into concrete help, support and joy where it is needed. Every donated cup has meaning. Each of you is a part of it.”

Moreover, the project does not end with the handing over of funds. In the fall, Donate a Cup together with organizations will return to evaluate the real impacts of the help, so that it can be seen how powerful even a small act is.

Ostrava Christmas: Help for the Ondrášek Mobile Hospice

A similar principle also worked at Ostrava Christmas, where NICKNACK joined the Dobrokoše project – Donate a Cup, Donate Good.

Thanks to NICKNACK’s support, the entire advance payment of CZK 50 per cup went to support the Ondrášek Mobile Hospice, which provides free care for terminally ill adults and children in their homes and provides support to entire families.

A total of 372,150 CZK was raised.
